Tension Headache and Chiropractic
Doctor: Alright, we're all set.
Patient: Thank you very much.
Doctor: My pleasure.
Patient: I feel so much better. Thank you. I have a question. My wife is having a lot of headaches -- tension headaches, she's telling me. And she's taking medication for it. But it keeps coming back. It's very, not helping and she's having side effect from the medication as well. Does chiropractic help for it? Can you help?
Doctor: Absolutely. So, chiropractic works wonders with headaches. So often times there's a lot of compression in the nerves and it kind of pinches and restricts the motion and the muscles get tighter and tighter. So, with chiropractic here, we're able to relieve that restriction and that tension, so she doesn't have to rely on that medication.
Patient: That makes sense. Will you do an exam on her before treatment?
Doctor: Absolutely. So, we'll first start with an exam to see exactly what she needs, because the treatments for you are different for her. So we'll see what she needs and then treat her accordingly.
Patient: Very good. She's pregnant though. Would there be an issue?
Doctor: Absolutely not. So she can come on in, it's actually really good for her to get cured while being pregnant, especially the ligaments get a little bit loose and we have different pillows and tables that can accommodate her as well. So she can lay down and be very comfortable.
Patient: Good, because her belly is pretty big.
Doctor: Yeah, it's very, very comfortable for her to be here.
Patient: Thank you very much. Thank you.
