We are a growing, high-focus, hands-on, and one-on-one multi-discipline patient-centered facility. We're offering a fantastic opportunity for a part-time to full-time NJ licensed Physical Therapist Associate committed to the success of our patients while furthering their own career. Responsibilities:
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
- Avoid the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery if possible
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
- Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Coordinate care with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a physical therapist
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice physical therapy in NJ and Malpractice Insurance
Qualifications:
- Physical Therapy License
- Strong patient care skills
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with discharge planning and acute care settings
- Experience in working with pediatric patients
- Proficiency in EMR systems and trigger point therapy techniques
- Previous experience in outpatient, health settings
